Regime Card Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of regimecard.com and the Regime Card app for iPhone (together, "Regime Card"). By using Regime Card you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Regime Card is operated by Rok Partners Inc. ("we", "us").
What Regime Card is
Regime Card publishes a daily reading of US market risk conditions: a percentile from 0 to 100 and one of five market regimes, from Risk-Off to Risk-On, together with what the S&P 500, single US stocks and major cryptocurrencies have done in each regime in the past. Every figure describes the past. None of it is a forecast.
Not investment advice
Regime Card is for informational purposes only. Nothing on the site, in the app, in an alert or in an email is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, an offer or a solicitation to buy or sell anything, or a statement that any investment is suitable for you. We are not your adviser and owe you no fiduciary duty. Make your own decisions, and consider a qualified professional before you act.
Accuracy and availability
We work to publish correct readings on time, but the data comes from third-party sources, may be late, incomplete or wrong, and may be revised. A reading can be held back or corrected. Regime Card may be unavailable at times, and features may change or stop without notice.
The app
The app is free to download and needs no account. Regime Card Pro, below, is optional. It is provided under Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement, and these terms add to it; where the two differ for the app, Apple's agreement governs your license to the app. Notifications are optional: you choose whether to receive regime change alerts, and you can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
Regime Card Pro
Regime Card Pro is an optional subscription in the app. It adds daily close alerts, alerts for the regimes you choose, crypto alerts, a watchlist included in your alerts, and data export with a personal API key. Everything that is free stays free: the readings, every History period, the scorecard, every stock and coin page and the regime change alert.
- Plans and the free week. Pro comes as a yearly plan and a monthly plan, at the prices the app shows before you buy. A new subscriber can start with a free week; when it ends, the plan you chose begins and is charged unless auto-renew was turned off at least 24 hours before the free week ended.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free week ends. Apple handles all billing; we never see your payment details.
- Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancelling. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings, under Subscriptions. After you cancel, Pro continues until the end of the period you paid for. Turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the free week ends and you are not charged.
- Refunds. Apple handles refunds under its own policies; you can ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. A refunded subscription ends Pro at once.
- Price changes. If the price changes, Apple tells you first and, where its rules require it, asks for your consent before charging the new price.
- Your API key. The personal API key is for your own use. Keep it secret: anyone who has it can use it as you. It is rate limited, it may be revoked if it is shared or misused, and it stops working when Pro ends. You can revoke it or make a new one in the app at any time.
If you sign up for email, from the site or the app, we send you a welcome email, then one email each time the market regime changes. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link. Signing up from the app needs a confirmation from the address first. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and why.
Acceptable use
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Regime Card.
- Use Regime Card for your own information. Do not resell it or present it as your own.
- Do not overload, probe or disrupt the service, get around its limits, or access it in ways it does not offer.
- Do not copy the site, the app or their data in bulk, by automated means or otherwise, except as the law allows.
- Quoting a reading with a credit to Regime Card and a link to regimecard.com is welcome.
Intellectual property
Regime Card, its name, its look, its text, its charts and its software belong to us or our licensors. The public record of readings at regimecard.com/verify is published so anyone can check it.
Disclaimers
Regime Card is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site, the app, an alert or an email, including any trading or investment loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Regime Card in the twelve months before the claim and one hundred US dollars.
Termination
We may suspend or end access to Regime Card for anyone who breaks these terms, and we may stop providing Regime Card at any time.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use Regime Card after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
